26 - 28 Annual Heritage Park SuperCruise & Rod Run - 50's style entertainment. Sat: 400 street rods at Heritage park. Food, games and special events all day. 7 p.m. Sat. night cars cruise thru downtown then park around the square. Stores will remain open, 50's costume contest, 50's dance, prizes and so much more. Sun. morning gospel singing, then awards presentation for cars.

4 Annual 4th of July Homecoming and Picnic - Parade at 9 a.m., bands, political speakers, entertainment, singing, beauty contest, BBQ, hamburgers, fried chicken. Miss Piggott contest at 8 p.m. Fireworks at 11 p.m. Truck give-away at 11:30 p.m., carnival and more.
